We are excited to welcome you as our guests to this special presentation of High Tea with Nilu. Each guest will be presented with a flight of 6 custom crafted canapés by Kura SG paired delicately with Nilu Tea. Take this opportunity to get up close and personal with Nilushika ( Nilu ) herself. Nilu is the first woman entrepreneur to own and operate a tea business in Sri Lanka. Being orphaned at fourteen and the eldest among her siblings, Nilu’s persistence and determination in making changes to her life gave her the motivation to seek a new beginning and look for opportunities away from home. After spending 16 years as a domestic helper in Singapore, she returned to her home country to start an e-commerce business selling a curated selection of premium teas to customers in France, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Determined to overcome her struggles and rise above life’s circumstances, she decided to create her own tea brand, Nilu Tea, to bring to the market a premium tea product, while continuing to promote her beliefs that everything is possible when you put people first.
